Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2024
Overview
Funlivery ("the App", "we", "us") is a private, single-user application built for personal use. This privacy policy describes what data the App accesses, how that data is used, and the steps taken to keep it secure. This app is not a commercial product, does not serve the general public, and does not collect data from third-party users.
Data Collected
The App accesses and temporarily processes the following categories of data via official platform APIs:
From Etsy
- Active listing details: titles, descriptions, images, prices, tags, and inventory counts
- Shop statistics: order counts, revenue figures, view counts, and conversion data
- Order history: anonymized transaction records (no buyer PII beyond what Etsy provides)
- OAuth access tokens (short-lived) used to authenticate API requests
From Pinterest
- Board names and IDs used to route synced pins
- Pin performance data: impressions, saves, clicks, and outbound link clicks
- OAuth access tokens (short-lived) used to authenticate API requests
Application Logs
- Internal sync logs: timestamps, listing IDs processed, and success/error statuses
- No personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what the APIs return
How We Use Data
All data accessed by the App is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Synchronization: Pushing new and updated Etsy listings to Pinterest boards, and removing archived pins when listings expire or are deleted.
- Analytics display: Rendering revenue charts, listing performance tables, and Pinterest engagement metrics within the private dashboard.
- Operational logging: Diagnosing sync failures, tracking processing history, and monitoring API rate limit usage.
Data is never sold, rented, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or transferred outside the contexts described above.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party platforms through their official, publicly documented APIs:
Etsy API
Listing and order data is fetched from Etsy via the Etsy Open API v3. Use of the Etsy API is governed by Etsy's API Terms of Use. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy.
Pinterest API
Pin creation and analytics data is accessed via the Pinterest API v5. Use of the Pinterest API is governed by Pinterest's Developer Guidelines. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest.
No other third-party services receive data from this application.
Data Storage & Retention
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are refreshed automatically according to each platform's token lifecycle.
- Synced listing metadata is cached locally to minimize redundant API calls and is refreshed on each sync cycle.
- Analytics data is fetched on demand and not permanently stored; dashboards reflect live API responses.
- Operational logs are retained for 30 days for debugging purposes and then automatically deleted.
- No data is stored in third-party cloud databases or analytics services.
Security
The following security measures are in place:
- All communication with Etsy and Pinterest APIs uses HTTPS/TLS.
- OAuth tokens are stored with encryption and are never logged in plaintext.
- The application runs on a private server with access limited to the sole authorized user.
- API permissions are scoped to the minimum required (least-privilege principle).
- The web-facing portion of this app (this privacy policy page) contains no user accounts, forms, or data collection.
Your Rights
As the sole user of this private application, you retain full control over all connected data:
- You may revoke the App's access to your Etsy account at any time via Etsy's App Management page.
- You may revoke the App's access to your Pinterest account at any time via Pinterest Security Settings.
- Revoking access immediately terminates the App's ability to read or write data on either platform.
Policy Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or applicable platform API requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Contact
Questions about this privacy policy or data handling practices can be directed to the owner and developer of this application via the contact information on file with the Etsy and Pinterest developer portals.
